Analisis Kebijakan Pendidikan Dalam Perspektif Etika Terhadap Pembentukan Karakter Peserta Didik Di MA Banjarjo

This study aims to analyze educational policies from an ethical perspective toward the character building of students at MA Ampel Banjarjo. This research is motivated by the importance of implementing ethical values in educational policies to shape students who are disciplined, responsible, and have good morals. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included the principal, teachers, and students of MA Ampel Banjarjo. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that educational policies at MA Ampel Banjarjo have implemented ethical values in various educational activities, such as disciplinary habituation, enforcement of school regulations, religious activities, and the development of students’ responsibility. The implementation of these policies has a positive impact on students’ character building, especially in terms of discipline, politeness, responsibility, and social awareness. However, several obstacles were still found in the implementation process, such as the lack of students’ awareness and the influence of the external environment. Therefore, cooperation among schools, families, and communities is needed to support the optimal character building of students.
